Read it as the places the engine already trusts for your prompts. For each domain that is not yours, ask whether a listing, a review, a directory entry or a guest piece there could name your brand. A domain that recurs across prompts and weeks is worth the outreach; a one-off usually is not.
It compares each cited domain with your brand name and aliases, letters and digits only. “acme.com” matches a brand called Acme; “acme-invoicing.io” matches too. Add your domain as an alias to make the match exact, and add a sister domain if you have one.
Not by itself. Claude cites inline when it has a URL to give and stays quiet otherwise, and a bare shortlist prompt often comes back without links. Try how-to and comparison questions, which pull the engine toward evidence. The product records sources per engine on every scan, so the list fills in over time.
