Claude and ChatGPT · AI visibility tools
helloAISearch tracks Claude as well as ChatGPT on every plan: Lite at $29 a month queries ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini every week, and Studio at $59 adds Perplexity for all four. Each answer is stored per engine, so you see what Claude said and what ChatGPT said separately, with your brand highlighted and share of voice reported for each. When the engines answer this question themselves they name Profound, Peec AI, Otterly AI, and Rankscale as tools that monitor brand visibility across both Claude and ChatGPT; we have not verified those engine lists from the vendors' sites, so check each one there. Whichever tool you choose, it should run your prompts on each model separately, show the answer text per engine, and report Claude and ChatGPT side by side, because the two models rarely name the same brands.

Claude and ChatGPT answer the same question differently, so a tool that blends them into one visibility score hides the gap you need to see. Beyond the criteria the engines apply to the whole category, check these on any tool that claims both.
Engine coverage is often tiered. Read which models the entry plan includes, not the logo row on the home page. helloAISearch Lite lists ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini; Studio and up add Perplexity.
A single blended run cannot tell you that Claude named you and ChatGPT did not. The tool should store one answer per engine, per prompt, per run.
You need the sentence where Claude named a competitor instead of you. Claude tends to answer this kind of question with a long, hedged list, so where you sit in it matters.
Your share on ChatGPT and your share on Claude are two numbers that move for different reasons. The report should let you compare them per prompt and over time.
Some tools price per model or per platform. Confirm what ChatGPT and Claude together cost on the entry plan before comparing prices.
Your prompts go to the engines on a schedule.
A competitor was named. You were not.

Share of voice moves. Or it doesn't.
We run helloAISearch on ourselves. Between July 17, 2026 and August 31, 2026 it recorded 350 answers from ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini across 7 category prompts; this prompt joined the tracked set on October 21, 2026, and helloAISearch has not yet been named in its answers. The “named” column is how many of those answers named each tool. Competitor descriptions are how the engines characterised them; we have not added claims of our own.

Write a comparison page for “alternatives to Competitor A”
This prompt came up 4× this week and Competitor A took every mention. A direct comparison page closes a 9-point Share of Voice gap. About an hour.
Yes, on every plan. Lite ($29 a month) tracks ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini weekly for 15 prompts; Studio ($59) adds Perplexity and scans ten prompts daily; Pro and Agency scan all four engines daily. Each answer is stored per engine, so you see what Claude said and what ChatGPT said separately.
In our own tracked answers to this question (October 2026), the engines named Profound, Peec AI, Otterly AI, Rankscale, Athena HQ, ZipTie, Semrush's AI toolkit, and Brand24 as covering Claude alongside ChatGPT. Those are the engines' descriptions, not ours. We have not verified any vendor's engine list from their site, so confirm it on their pricing page before you buy.
The models are trained on different data and retrieve differently, so a brand ChatGPT picked up from a recent page can be absent from Claude for months, and the reverse. The only way to know which engine you are losing on is to ask both, on a schedule, and keep the answers.
No. The 3-day trial runs 10 prompts on ChatGPT and Gemini, once right after onboarding and again on day 3, with no credit card. Claude joins from the first paid scan on any plan.
If your buyers research with citations, yes: Perplexity cites its sources, so it tells you which pages win. It is included on Studio ($59 a month) and up. Lite covers ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini.
